Mothers Day

Kudos to mothers!

If we had to pick one day a year that was picture perfect for sharing feelings of gratitude with someone else, we’d cast our vote for Mother’s Day.

Here’s to Mom! Seriously, talk about someone we should all be grateful for, the person who birthed us into this world…especially as in many cases she’s had to deal with us kicking and screaming from the get-go.

Sadly, some of us have lost our mothers or lost touch with them, or not been able to resolve our differences. Regardless, this is her day. Give her a kudo, let her know how much you love and appreciate her. Shout it out to the world. Or even just take a quiet moment to reflect and appreciate…if nothing else, do it for you.

And let’s not just do it for our mothers, but all the other mothers. The grandmothers, the aunts, the older sisters, the teachers…all the women who have had a hand in helping us find our way in the world. If any of them have been a mother to you or your family in any way, take a moment to appreciate them and, better yet, send them a kudo right now or soon as you can, don’t let this wonderful day get away!
